The challenge
Finding a product is only the beginning of an inventory inquiry. Someone reviewing a SKU needs to understand which stock is available, which is reserved, and which is damaged. Each state tells a different part of the story of that product reference.
The inquiry belongs to a broader operation. Warehouses, transfers, movements, and alerts are also part of inventory management. A platform needs to give those areas a place while keeping the immediate question clear: what is the product, and what do its stock states show?
03 / What we built
What we built
Global Import Supply organizes inventory by SKU and displays available, reserved, and damaged stock separately. A person can look up a reference and read each state within the interface. That is the concrete core of the project.
The navigation includes warehouse, transfer, movement, and alert areas alongside inventory lookup. Users can recognize those areas in the same environment and retain the broader operational context while reviewing product information.
We built an interface with precise terminology: SKU identifies the product; available, reserved, and damaged distinguish its states; warehouses and movements identify other areas of the system. That vocabulary helps explain how the workspace is organized.
