The challenge
A restaurant looks different depending on where you stand. The kitchen has its own working context. The point of sale brings the service perspective. The back office brings business management into view. Customer relationships add another perspective to the same operation.
Designing a restaurant platform means giving each area a place while keeping the whole recognizable. Someone evaluating the system needs to understand what it covers and where each part fits. Best Food USA brings that breadth of management into one interface.
03 / What we built
What we built
The system brings together five areas: enterprise resource planning (ERP), point of sale (POS), kitchen display (KDS), customer relationship management (CRM), and business intelligence (BI). They offer five ways to approach the same activity through a dedicated restaurant interface.
POS and KDS place the concept in two concrete restaurant settings: the point of sale and the kitchen. ERP, CRM, and BI extend the scope to business management, customers, and business information. Each area contributes a recognizable perspective.
The platform addresses the restaurant from different working perspectives, giving a place to management areas and to areas specific to food service. A reader can understand the scope through the concepts of their own operation.
